Job Description
Wunder is seeking team members to contribute to the development and deployment of commercial solar energy projects, helping businesses and communities adopt clean energy solutions while supporting the company's mission to combat climate change and promote sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate properties for solar deployment and develop solar projects at scale.
- Design and engineer solar energy systems tailored to customer needs.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful project development and deployment.
Requirements
- Ability to develop and implement solar energy projects at scale, including evaluating properties and deploying renewable energy assets across all 50 states.
- Experience evaluating more than 30,000 properties for solar energy deployment.
- Knowledge of commercial solar project development, including systems approximately 430 kilowatts in size.
- Understanding of how solar systems can offset coal burned, specifically systems capable of offsetting approximately 350,000 pounds of coal annually.
- Ability to align ESG goals with revenue targets through renewable energy deployment.
- Experience working with a proprietary technology platform for solar project development (implied requirement to operate and utilize such platform effectively).
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Willingness to participate in in-person team events, offsites, and retreats, indicating flexibility to work on-site in Boulder, Colorado.
- Commitment to the company's mission of accelerating solar deployment and addressing climate change through renewable energy projects.
