A full-time, in-office accounting leadership role responsible for overseeing financial operations, reporting, and controls for a rapidly growing renewable energy company focused on solar projects and asset management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the monthly close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Oversee accounts payable and core accounting operations
Manage accounting across multiple project-level entities (SPVs)
Lead annual audits and coordinate with external auditors
Analyze and reconcile large, complex datasets across systems
Design and implement scalable financial processes, controls, and systems
Requirements
You are a CPA and have 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally with a background that includes both audit experience and financial services.
Proficiency in Excel and working with large amounts of data.
Ability to work autonomously with an inquisitive auditor mindset.
High level of organization, ability to stay on top of changing goals and priorities, and strong project management skills.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality of data.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment with ambiguity and pivot quickly when needed.
Willingness to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with a team-oriented ethos.
Ability to find effective solutions to complex problems and streamline processes to increase efficiency.
