Job Description

A full-time, in-office role based in Boulder, CO, focused on optimizing and managing the sales operations and pipeline for a fast-growing solar energy company. The position involves enhancing sales efficiency, data management, cross-team collaboration, and supporting the company's mission to accelerate renewable energy deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee pipeline operations and refine outbound targeting strategy to support sales growth
  • Manage and optimize CRM systems like Salesforce to ensure data accuracy and usability
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics using BI tools to identify opportunities and improve processes
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Transactions, and Customer Success teams to ensure continuity
  • Guide and implement outbound campaign strategies, including market segmentation and territory assignment
  • Support sales leadership with data hygiene, process development, and operational discipline
  • Assist in client-facing communications as needed to maintain professionalism and client engagement

Requirements

  • Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in Sales, Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, or a similar role where they have worked closely with teams to increase effectiveness.
  • Candidates must have managed Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems like Salesforce and worked with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Metabase, Looker, Tableau, etc., with the ability to translate messy pipelines into clean data and actionable insights.
  • Candidates must have a Type-A personality who loves organizing chaos, building processes, assigning ownership, tracking status, and ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks, effectively keeping the operations running smoothly.
  • Candidates must be confident, articulate, and able to make a strong impression in client-facing conversations when needed, demonstrating client-ready polish.
  • Candidates must have experience guiding and optimizing outbound campaigns, including prioritizing market segments, assigning territories, collaborating with Business Development Representatives (BDRs), and using performance data to improve targeting strategies.
  • Candidates must be highly detail-oriented, with a strong belief that good data is sacred, capable of noticing when data is off, and ensuring data corrections are made in Salesforce.
  • Candidates must be a team player with the ability to connect dots between teams, thrive in collaborative environments, and work closely with Transactions, Customer Success, and other departments to ensure continuity across the customer lifecycle.
  • Candidates must be self-motivated and entrepreneurial, capable of building processes proactively, anticipating needs, setting deadlines independently, and holding themselves to high standards.
  • Candidates must care deeply about the energy transition, climate impact, and building something meaningful, aligning with the company's mission.
  • Candidates must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the Boulder or Denver, Colorado area.

Salary range of $140,000 - $200,000 with potential up to 30% variable compensation
