A sales-focused role supporting the deployment of solar energy solutions for commercial and industrial real estate clients, involving market research, outreach, and deal closing to accelerate renewable energy adoption and combat climate change.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify target commercial and industrial real estate properties and owners.
Qualify outbound leads and develop a sales pipeline for large-scale solar energy projects.
Conduct outreach to key decision makers through phone calls and email campaigns.
Schedule and conduct introductory meetings with potential clients.
Collaborate with sales, project development, and platform teams to understand market opportunities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce and internal data systems.
Requirements
Candidates must currently live in, or be willing to relocate to, the Boulder or Denver, Colorado area.
A solid internship or 1-2 years of sales experience is required.
Must be hungry to learn, excited to build out a robust pipeline of large-scale solar energy projects, and eager to learn from industry professionals.
Must be highly extroverted and comfortable with researching properties, uncovering property owners, and approaching and pitching potential clients over the phone.
Ability to create email outreach campaigns that effectively engage prospects.
Must be detail-oriented and highly organized, with a strong commitment to maintaining data fidelity in Salesforce and Astra, and ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative, and rapidly growing environment, working effectively cross-functionally with sales, account management, project development, and platform teams.
Must be flexible and able to respond quickly and efficiently to changing priorities and challenges.
Ability to articulate solutions and develop new, effective ways to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (implied by the need for a solid internship or 1-2 years of sales experience).
