A construction project coordinator role supporting the development and execution of commercial solar projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and safety while collaborating cross-functionally within a fast-paced, growth-oriented company focused on renewable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with EPC partners, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to support project execution
Track project schedules, budgets, and milestones to ensure timely delivery
Identify and escalate risks that could impact project timelines, costs, or quality
Maintain organized project documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication
Participate in site visits and construction meetings to support on-the-ground project execution
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across project development, engineering, asset management, and account management
Requirements
1 to 2 years of managing projects or a solid foundation of career experience from a previous internship, part-time, or full-time role in Construction, Project Management, Solar Development, or related fields that provided the tools and resources to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Ability to take the initiative to reduce risk and get ahead of problems before they impact project timelines or budgets, ensuring all stakeholders are informed about what is happening, why it is happening, and when it needs to be done.
Meticulous and detail-oriented with a zero-defect approach to problem solving and deliverables, ensuring all details to achieve milestones are taken care of on time and on budget.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, juggling several tasks and responsibilities effectively.
Willingness and readiness to learn about the solar development and construction industry, with enthusiasm to become an industry expert.
Ability to approach tasks with a growth mindset, actively seeking new ideas, questioning the status quo, and driving forward with creative and effective solutions.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, rapid-growth environment, with a passion for collaboration and cross-functional teamwork.
