The Water Wastewater Operator is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of multiple water and wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring compliance and efficient plant performance, with opportunities for career growth and certification support.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the daily operations and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
Operate treatment plant equipment to ensure compliance with operational standards.
Assist in troubleshooting operational issues at treatment facilities.
Requirements
Must participate in the daily operations and maintenance of 5 Water Treatment Facilities and 2 Wastewater Treatment Facilities as directed by the Project Manager and Chief Operator.
Must be a certified Water Wastewater Operator with current industry licenses and certifications.
Must have the ability to work outdoors protecting water resources.
Must be willing to participate in on-call rotation, with incentives of 200 for the week on call and a minimum of 2 hours paid for each call out received.
Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with operations and maintenance of treatment facilities.
Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in water and wastewater treatment operations (implied by the need for certification and participation in daily operations).
