Job Description
A dual-certified Water and Wastewater Treatment Operator responsible for the daily operations, maintenance, and emergency response of treatment facilities, ensuring compliance and protecting water resources in the Bartow, Florida area.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in daily operations and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment systems as directed by the Project Manager
- Monitor treatment processes daily to ensure 100% compliance
- Respond to emergencies and unpredicted situations, including being part of an on-call rotation
- Maintain treatment facilities through regular operational activities
Requirements
- Must be a qualified, dual certified Water and Wastewater Treatment Operator in Bartow, Florida.
- Must participate in the daily operations and maintenance of Water and Wastewater Treatment Systems as directed by the Project Manager.
- Must participate in an on-call rotation on weekends, holidays, and outside normal workday hours.
- Must be able to respond to emergencies or unpredicted situations as required.
