Job Description

The Water Wastewater Project Manager is responsible for leading the development, design, and delivery of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects, collaborating with municipal clients and managing multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with municipal clients to develop, design, and deliver water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
  • Evaluate, plan, and design infrastructure projects related to water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
  • Provide construction administration for linear and vertical water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects.
  • Lead the delivery of multiple projects in coordination with the technical team and project stakeholders.
  • Engage directly with clients and internal teams to ensure project success.
  • Support marketing and proposal development efforts for new projects.

Requirements

  • A Professional Engineer license (or equivalent certification) is required.
  • Strong experience in evaluating, planning, designing, and providing construction administration for both linear and vertical water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with a broad range of issues related to master planning, treatment, distribution, and collection systems is essential.
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams is preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with the Technical Manager and broader technical team to help lead the delivery of multiple projects.
  • Ability to engage directly with clients and internal teams.
  • Experience supporting marketing and proposal development efforts.
  • Location in Portland, ME with the ability to work on a hybrid schedule.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% within Maine to clients.
