The Wastewater Treatment Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining a 1 MGD advanced wastewater treatment plant, focusing on laboratory analysis, process control, record keeping, and supporting maintenance and facility grounds, while ensuring compliance and participating in an on-call rotation.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain the wastewater treatment plant and related equipment
Conduct laboratory analysis and monitor process control parameters
Maintain accurate records of operations and compliance data
Assist with maintenance projects and general facility and grounds upkeep
Respond to emergency situations and work outside normal hours as part of on-call rotation
Requirements
Operation and general maintenance of equipment at a 1 MGD advanced wastewater treatment facility.
Primary focus on laboratory analysis, record keeping, and process control.
Assisting with maintenance projects and general facility and grounds maintenance.
Participation in an on call rotation for plant coverage outside normal workday hours, including weekends.
Responding to emergency situations and working in inclement weather as needed.
Working scheduled hours Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
