The Wastewater Project Engineer role involves collaborating with municipal clients to develop, design, and deliver drinking water projects across the New England region, focusing on evaluation, planning, design, and construction of water systems while supporting project management and client communication.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with municipal clients to develop, design, and deliver drinking water projects
Evaluate, plan, design, and oversee the construction of drinking water systems
Lead the technical delivery of multiple water projects in coordination with project and technical managers
Work directly with clients and internal teams to ensure project success
Support marketing and proposal efforts for new projects
Requirements
A Professional Engineer license (PE) is required.
Strong experience in evaluating, planning, designing, and constructing drinking water systems.
Familiarity with a broad range of practice areas including master planning, permitting, treatment, and distribution systems is preferred.
Ability to collaborate with municipal clients to develop, design, and deliver drinking water projects across the New England region (Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, and Connecticut).
Experience in leading the technical delivery of multiple projects in collaboration with project and technical managers.
Ability to work directly with clients and internal teams to support project execution.
Willingness to support marketing and proposal efforts related to water projects.
Availability to work a flexible remote/hybrid schedule with 2 to 3 days in the office or onsite with clients.
Willingness to travel up to 20 clients within the New England region.
