The Wastewater Operator is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of industrial wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring compliance and responding to emergencies, on a rotating shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the daily operations and maintenance of wastewater treatment facilities as directed by the Project Manager
Respond to emergency or unpredicted situations during on-call rotations
Assist in covering additional shifts as needed
Requirements
Participate in the daily operations and maintenance of the Industrial Wastewater Treatment Systems as directed by the Project Manager.
Participate in an on-call rotation on weekends, holidays, and outside normal workday hours, and respond to emergency or unpredicted situations.
Work the schedule from 12:00am to 12:00pm, with occasional need to help cover an additional shift.
Be able to work on a rotating schedule: Week one - working 2 days on Monday and Tuesday, 2 days off on Wednesday and Thursday, 3 days on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; Week two - 2 days off on Monday and Tuesday, 2 days on Wednesday and Thursday, 3 days off on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent (implied as a minimum educational requirement for wastewater operators).
Have the ability to respond to emergency or unpredicted situations as part of the on-call rotation.
Be physically capable of performing duties required for wastewater treatment operations, including participation in emergency responses (implied physical demands).
Be willing to participate in the company's certification programs and maintain industry certifications (implied requirement for industry compliance).
