The Wastewater Collection System Operator is responsible for the operation and maintenance of wastewater collection systems and pump stations, including tasks such as CCTV work, line repairs, and equipment monitoring, to ensure efficient and compliant wastewater treatment operations.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the operations and maintenance of the wastewater collection system and pumping stations
Perform CCTV work, line repair and replacement, road flagging, and water disconnects
Operate water and wastewater treatment plant equipment in a support role
Monitor, repair, and control the functioning of pump station and plant equipment and processes
Requirements
Perform skilled, journeyman-level work in monitoring, repairing, and controlling the functioning of pump station and plant equipment and processes.
Participate in the operations and maintenance of the Wastewater Collection System and/or Wastewater Pumping Stations, including tasks such as CCTV work, line repair and replacement, road flagging, and water disconnects.
Operate water and/or wastewater treatment plant equipment in a support role.
Possess the ability to perform work during normal hours of 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
