A senior civil and environmental engineer responsible for leading remediation system design, evaluation, and project management for complex water and environmental restoration projects, primarily supporting remediation and mine site restoration efforts across the Western United States.
Key Responsibilities
Lead remediation system selection, design, and evaluation.
Provide civil and environmental engineering support on remediation and mine site restoration projects.
Develop stormwater design, site development, excavation, capping, and elevation grading plans.
Design dewatering and treatment systems for remediation projects.
Support construction activities and provide QA/QC oversight across multiple projects.
Prepare specifications, design packages, drawings, and quantity takeoffs.
Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with regulations.
Support marketing efforts and proposal development for remediation projects.
Requirements
Candidates must have a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Candidates should have strong experience in investigation, remedial design, and restoration efforts associated with complex remediation and construction projects.
Candidates should have experience with Superfund sites, former mine site reclamation remediation, oil and gas well closures, and interactions with regulators (preferred but not mandatory).
Candidates must be able to lead the technical delivery and QA QC of services across multiple projects.
Candidates must be familiar with local and federal regulations related to civil and environmental engineering and remediation projects.
Candidates must have the ability to develop, lead, and mentor project teams.
Candidates must have experience providing civil and environmental engineering support on remediation and mine site restoration projects throughout the Western United States.
Candidates should have strong technical experience to lead remediation system selection, design, and evaluation.
Candidates must be able to prepare specifications, design packages, drawings, and quantity takeoffs.
Candidates should have experience in stormwater design, site development, excavation design, capping design, elevation grading work, dewatering and treatment design, and construction support.
Candidates must have the ability to support marketing and proposal development.
Candidates should have excellent communication skills to collaborate with client managers, project managers, external consultants, engineers, scientists, geologists, and project administrative professionals.
Candidates must be willing to travel up to 20% within the continental US.
Candidates should have a strong commitment to sound engineering practices and a passion for innovation and technical excellence in the remediation field.
