The Remediation Design Engineer supports and manages complex environmental remediation projects, focusing on groundwater systems, in-situ and ex-situ technologies, and site investigations, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions and lead project activities.
Key Responsibilities
Optimize the operations and performance of groundwater pump-and-treat remediation systems
Design and implement in-situ and ex-situ remediation technologies and performance monitoring programs
Lead field activities for Pre-Design Investigations at complex remediation sites
Evaluate treatability test and field pilot study results to support remediation project planning and execution
Requirements
A mid-level engineer with strong technical experience delivering high-quality remediation and consulting services to projects located across the firm’s geography and core markets.
Ability to support and manage a diverse range of challenging and engaging remediation projects, including optimizing the operations and performance of groundwater pump-and-treat remediation systems, designing and implementing in-situ and ex-situ remediation technologies, and leading field activities for Pre-Design Investigations at complex remediation sites.
Experience in evaluating treatability test and field pilot study results to support teams in selecting, designing, and constructing full-scale remediation activities.
Ability to work independently and lead multi-disciplined project teams.
Strong technical skills in remediation engineering and consulting services.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with engineers, scientists, clients, and project teams.
Reporting directly to Project Managers in the national Environmental Remediation Practice.
Support and support the management of remediation projects across the company’s core markets and geographic locations.
