Job Description
The Industrial Water Project Manager at Woodard Curran is responsible for leading and delivering industrial water and wastewater projects across the U.S., managing project teams through all phases from planning to operations, and supporting client relationships with a focus on technical excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, lead, and deliver industrial water wastewater projects across the U.S.
- Manage project teams through planning, preliminary design, final design, construction, start-up, and operations phases.
- Mentor and support staff and clients throughout project execution.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, structural, CAD, operations, and SCADA to enhance project outcomes.
- Support project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives within the company.
Requirements
- Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Pennsylvania or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing industrial water wastewater projects, including phases such as planning, preliminary design, final design, construction, start-up, and operations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, lead, and mentor project teams effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to support and collaborate with staff, clients, and multidisciplinary teams including electrical, structural, CAD, operations, and SCADA teams.
- Experience managing projects for industrial and commercial clients across the U.S.
- Ability to support project delivery and leadership within the Industrial Water Practice area.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% within the continental U.S. for project-related activities.
- Ability to support project development and delivery from initial planning through operations phases.
- Experience in managing project budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
- Commitment to safe practices and focus on industrial clients.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop, lead, and mentor project teams.
- Ability to work remotely or virtually as per office preference.
