Job Description
The Wastewater Operator will be responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of wastewater treatment systems, ensuring efficient plant performance and compliance with regulations. The role involves supporting treatment processes, troubleshooting operational issues, and maintaining equipment in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the daily operations of the Wastewater Treatment System
- Perform maintenance tasks on the wastewater treatment equipment
- Ensure treatment plant operations comply with regulatory standards
- Assist in monitoring and controlling treatment processes
- Support certification and training requirements for wastewater operations
Requirements
- Participate in the daily operations and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment System as directed by the Project Manager.
- Possess the necessary certifications required for a Wastewater Operator (industry certifications must be maintained, upgraded, and kept current).
- Have the ability to quickly address operational issues and keep treatment plants running efficiently and in full compliance.
- Support and assist in earning, upgrading, and maintaining industry certifications related to wastewater treatment operations.
