Job Description
The position involves developing and managing water resources modeling and planning projects related to groundwater and water supply, working with government clients across California, and providing innovative solutions in the water and environmental sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and deliver water resources modeling and planning projects
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholder groups, and project teams to develop innovative solutions for groundwater-related projects
- Manage successful project teams in groundwater and water resource projects
Requirements
- Experience in the water resources field, including developing, executing, and delivering water resources modeling and planning projects.
- Ability to collaborate with state, federal, and local clients to develop, execute, and deliver water resources projects.
- Interest in developing innovative solutions to challenging groundwater-related projects.
- Experience in managing successful project teams.
- Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with clients, stakeholder groups, and project teams.
- Experience working in California or willingness to work in California, with flexibility for location and a hybrid work schedule.
- Ability to travel up to 20% within California.
- Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG), Certified Hydrogeologist (CHG), or Professional Geophysicist (PGP) certification or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in the water resources field relevant to groundwater projects.
- Physical ability to perform job duties as required (implied, given the nature of fieldwork and project management).
