Job Description
A field monitoring internship involving environmental sampling and data collection of soils, groundwater, and surface water, with opportunities to support project teams and gain hands-on experience in environmental engineering and science.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental field monitoring and sampling of soils, ground water, and surface water
- Assist in data collection, compilation, and evaluation
- Support in preparing reports and project submittals
- Shadow experienced engineers and scientists and contribute to project design or field oversight
Requirements
- Must be a motivated individual currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an environmental engineering, science, or related program.
- Must have the ability to work alongside experienced engineers and scientists as a member of project teams.
- Must be able to contribute to actual project design or field oversight activities.
- Must be able to perform environmental field monitoring and sampling of soils, ground water, and surface water in the field.
- Must assist in data compilations and evaluations, including data collection and reporting.
- Must assist office and project personnel in the preparation of reports and submittals.
