A field monitoring internship involving environmental sampling and data collection of soils, groundwater, and surface water, with opportunities to support project teams and gain hands-on experience in environmental engineering and science.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct environmental field monitoring and sampling of soils, ground water, and surface water
Assist in data collection, compilation, and evaluation
Support in preparing reports and project submittals
Shadow experienced engineers and scientists and contribute to project design or field oversight
Requirements
Must be a motivated individual currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an environmental engineering, science, or related program.
Must have the ability to work alongside experienced engineers and scientists as a member of project teams.
Must be able to contribute to actual project design or field oversight activities.
Must be able to perform environmental field monitoring and sampling of soils, ground water, and surface water in the field.
Must assist in data compilations and evaluations, including data collection and reporting.
Must assist office and project personnel in the preparation of reports and submittals.
