The Drinking Water Treatment Operator is responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of water treatment facilities, ensuring safe and efficient water treatment processes while supporting a safe work environment and ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the daily operation and maintenance of water treatment equipment, structures, and grounds.
Assist with managing regulatory sampling programs in a timely and safe manner.
Help ensure a safe work environment for all plant personnel and visitors.
Requirements
Participate in the daily operation and general maintenance of equipment, structures, and grounds at the Town of Manchester-by-the-Sea s 3 MGD Trident Microfloc Surface Water Treatment Facility, two ground water wells, and 1.7 MG storage tank.
Assist with the management of all associated regulatory sampling programs in a safe and timely manner.
Help foster and maintain a safe work environment for all plant personnel and visitors.

Work schedule: Full-time, includes observed holidays (up to 9 per year), vacation based on experience, sick time, and parental leave (up to 80 hours)
