The Drinking Water Technical Manager leads multi-disciplinary teams in the planning, design, and construction of drinking water systems, ensuring compliance with regulations while supporting project delivery and client needs within a collaborative, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide engineering support on drinking water projects, including evaluation, planning, design, and construction of water systems.
Lead the technical delivery of multiple water projects from planning through facilities operations.
Mentor and collaborate with junior staff and work with mid and senior-level technical and organizational leadership.
Ensure projects comply with local and federal regulations related to water systems.
Support marketing and proposal efforts for new projects.
Requirements
Strong experience in the evaluation, planning, design, and construction of drinking water systems.
Familiarity with a broad range of issues related to master planning, treatment, and distribution systems for drinking water.
Ability to lead the technical delivery of multiple projects.
Must be familiar with local and federal regulations related to drinking water projects.
Experience providing engineering support on drinking water projects.
Ability to direct and collaborate with a team of junior staff while working with mid and senior-level technical staff and leadership across the organization.
A technically focused individual with strong experience in the evaluation, planning, design, and construction of drinking water systems.
Support marketing and proposal efforts for water projects.
Travel availability for mostly in California, with a preference for candidates located in California.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in water engineering or related fields.
