The Consulting Division Leader at Woodard Curran is an executive role responsible for overseeing and integrating the company's environmental consulting services, driving operational excellence, strategic planning, and client-focused solutions to support sustainable growth and community impact.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and unify the environmental consulting organization to ensure high performance.
Drive operational integration across diverse consulting disciplines.
Ensure consistent technical and project delivery excellence.
Develop and implement strategies, long-range plans, and enterprise initiatives for sustainable growth.
Partner with executive leadership to translate strategy into actionable plans.
Champion systems, talent development, and frameworks that enable scale, predictability, and innovation.
Requirements
Deep understanding of environmental and engineering consulting, including technical leadership and operational excellence, with the ability to translate strategy into execution through guiding long-range planning, annual business plans, and enterprise initiatives.
Strong project management discipline with the ability to ensure consistent technical and project delivery excellence across diverse consulting disciplines.
Strategic insight and experience in leading a high-performing environmental consulting organization, including driving operational integration and systems, talent, and frameworks that enable scale, predictability, and innovation.
Experience partnering closely with executive leadership to support sustainable growth, technical leadership, and client success.
Proven leadership presence and the ability to inspire teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental services, professional engineering, or related consulting fields, with demonstrated leadership in a senior or executive role.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Excellent communication skills to effectively guide strategy, collaborate with leadership, and lead diverse teams.
Experience in guiding long-range planning, annual business planning, and enterprise initiatives that support growth and technical excellence.
