The Consulting Division Leader at Woodard Curran is an executive role responsible for guiding and integrating the company's environmental consulting services, driving operational excellence, and leading strategic growth initiatives across water, environmental, and remediation practices.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and unify the environmental consulting organization to ensure high performance and technical excellence.
Drive operational integration across diverse consulting disciplines.
Translate strategic plans into actionable long-range and annual business plans.
Guide enterprise initiatives to support sustainable growth, technical leadership, and client success.
Partner with executive leadership to shape the future of the consulting business and improve service delivery.
Requirements
Deep understanding of environmental and engineering consulting, including experience in leading or managing consulting organizations or divisions.
Strong project management discipline with the ability to ensure consistent technical and project delivery excellence across diverse consulting disciplines.
Strategic insight and experience in translating strategy into execution, including guiding long-range planning, annual business plans, and enterprise initiatives.
Proven leadership presence with the ability to inspire and lead teams at an executive level.
Experience in driving operational integration across multiple consulting disciplines to enable scale, predictability, and innovation.
Ability to partner closely with executive leadership to support sustainable growth, technical leadership, and client success.
Experience in shaping and leading a high-performing environmental consulting organization or similar enterprise-wide role.
Strong understanding of environmental and engineering consulting practices, markets, and client needs.
Demonstrated ability to influence how technically rigorous, client-focused solutions are delivered.
Experience in guiding and implementing systems, talent development, and frameworks that support organizational growth and operational excellence.
Ability to develop and guide long-range planning, annual business plans, and enterprise initiatives.
Experience in managing or leading within a mission-driven, people-first organization that values innovation and inclusivity.
Ability to work in a flexible office environment with the option for virtual work arrangements.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
