Job Description
The Collections Utility Worker is responsible for operating and maintaining water and wastewater facilities, ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and processes to support clean water and environmental health. The role involves teamwork, adherence to safety standards, and may include both entry-level and experienced professionals in the water utility industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain water and wastewater facilities, equipment, and process control systems
- Assist in the management of water and wastewater systems for clients
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of facility equipment
- Support team in ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Requirements
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to operate and maintain water and wastewater facilities, equipment, and process control systems.
- Willingness to work a schedule of 7:30 am to 4:00 pm during winter and 6:30 am to 3:00 pm during summer, with overtime eligibility.
- Experience or interest in water and wastewater utility operations and maintenance, including operating water and wastewater systems.
- For inexperienced individuals: willingness to learn and perform tasks related to water and wastewater system operation and maintenance.
- For experienced professionals: demonstrated proficiency in water and wastewater system operation and maintenance.
- Ability to work as part of a team responsible for the operation and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and process control at water and wastewater facilities.

Compensation/salary range (not specified)
Work schedule: Winter Schedule 7:30am - 4:00pm plus overtime, Summer Schedule 6:30am - 3:00pm
