Job Description
The Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager at WeaveGrid is responsible for developing and executing partner-driven growth strategies within the electric vehicle and energy grid sectors, managing relationships with automakers, utilities, and tech providers, and driving partnership deals from initiation to activation to support the company's clean energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute partner-driven growth strategies with automakers, EVSEs, utilities, and tech data providers.
- Source, qualify, structure, and close partner deals from initial contact to signature.
- Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers at strategic partners.
- Represent WeaveGrid at industry events and contribute thought leadership on EV and VPP topics.
- Design partnership agreements and lead structured negotiations with Legal and Finance support.
- Develop partner value propositions, including market sizing, unit economics, and regulatory considerations.
- Establish repeatable processes for partner engagement, enablement, lead routing, and KPI tracking.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM data hygiene.
- Manage quarterly business reviews, align roadmaps, and facilitate partner integration and co-marketing activities for key partners.
Requirements
- 6 to 9 years of experience in partnerships, corporate development, strategy, or business development
- Proven success in taking partner motions from zero signed activated revenue
- Experience building financial, market, or energy models to support strategy and decision-making
- Demonstrable experience across EV, renewables, battery storage, and ecosystems
- Experience operating in North America
- Fluency or strong interest in ramping in VPPs, DERMS, Demand Response, and DERs
- Familiarity with EVSE infrastructure, V2G partnership models, and residential battery technology is a plus
- Negotiation fluency and ability to run structured negotiations with Legal and Finance support
- Strong cross-functional orchestration skills with Finance, Legal, Product Engineering, Marketing, and RevOps
- Strong CRM discipline and maintaining accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM hygiene
- Excellent structured communication skills, including concise memos, decision decks, and hypothesis-driven problem solving
