Job Description
The role involves leading product strategy and development for software applications that help utility companies manage and scale electric vehicle programs, focusing on optimization engines and grid health support within an enterprise SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the product roadmap for software applications supporting utility EV programs.
- Define, design, and deliver products including optimization engines, data offerings, and integrations.
- Analyze data to inform product direction and gather business requirements.
- Collaborate with agile teams on feature design, documentation, and implementation.
- Manage product backlog and prioritize features in Jira.
- Coordinate and participate in user acceptance testing.
- Serve as subject matter expert for product offerings to internal teams and clients.
- Support client demonstrations and research customer needs and market gaps.
- Assist operations and engineering teams as needed to ensure product success.
Requirements
- Five years of experience in product management, ideally with complex, data-intensive products for enterprise customers
- Experience in building journey maps, mockups, and other artifacts to facilitate a great user experience
- Empathy for the needs of customers using shipped software
- Clear and succinct communication practices, both verbally and in writing
- Interest in diving into emerging technologies and industries
- Comfort with APIs, user interfaces, and technical documentation
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Efficient and ethical usage of generative AI
