Job Description

The Key Account Manager is responsible for sourcing, managing, and closing deals related to ground lease buy-outs, building and maintaining a client pipeline, and contributing to strategic initiatives within a fast-paced telecom and renewables infrastructure investment firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage personal pipeline of origination leads from sourcing to closing
  • Build and maintain a client pipeline using a consultative approach
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets related to origination and closings
  • Monitor sales pipeline activity to ensure its health and stability
  • Contribute to origination process improvements through data mining, CRM design, and marketing initiatives
  • Support strategic initiatives and product development to stay competitive

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience in business to consumer (B2C) sales
  • Natural sales talent with strong business acumen
  • Exceptional negotiation skills required, with experience negotiating transactions from sourcing through close
  • Experience negotiating transactions from sourcing through close required
  • Proven ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding negotiation and influence skills
  • Ability to manage a personal pipeline of origination leads from sourcing to closing
  • Ability to be the first point of contact for prospective clients and employ a consultative approach to clients considering a ground lease buy-out
  • Ability to achieve personal monthly, quarterly, and annual targets related to origination funnel management and closings
  • Ability to rigorously monitor personal origination waterfall activity to ensure health and stability of sales pipeline
  • Ability to contribute user-experience input to origination processes such as data mining, CRM design, and marketing initiatives
  • Ability to contribute to strategic initiatives and product design to maintain a competitive market position
