Job Description

The Accounts Payable Analyst supports the processing of global invoices, manages supplier and payment queries, and collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient accounts payable operations while driving process improvements and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process invoices into the ERP system, including matching against POs and executing payments
  • Handle supplier and payment queries, providing timely responses and follow-up
  • Coordinate with stakeholders such as suppliers and treasury to manage payment status and vendor setup
  • Ensure correct expense allocations, GL, and VAT coding in collaboration with accounting and tax teams
  • Support ad-hoc requests and audits related to Accounts Payable
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the Accounts Payable function to enhance scalability

Requirements

  • Support the team to process globally Accounts Payable invoices and handle related queries and follow-up requests.
  • Process invoices into the ERP system Workday, including entering invoices, checking them, matching them against Purchase Orders, and executing payments.
  • Communicate with stakeholders such as suppliers and the treasury department regarding payment status, vendor setup, or general AP process queries.
  • Handle incoming requests related to payment status, vendor setup, or general queries around the Accounts Payable process.
  • Deliver high-level customer service by handling company management, employee, or supplier requests in a timely manner.
  • Ensure correct expense assignments, including correct GL and VAT codes, and collaborate with the accounting and tax teams to improve processes.
  • Support the Accounts Payable team with ad-hoc requests and regular audit requests.
  • Work on process improvement initiatives within the Accounts Payable process to help drive scalability.
  • Hold a BA and/or MA Degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, or a similar field.
  • Have advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with Workday is a plus.
  • Ideally have first experiences in accounting or financial administration.
  • Be eager to learn and deliver best-in-class customer experience to internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and employees.
  • Possess strong communication skills in English; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
