Job Description

The Accounts Receivable Specialist at Celonis is responsible for managing overdue customer accounts, resolving delinquency issues, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely payments and improve customer satisfaction within a global process mining and AI-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Establish contact with past due customers to resolve delinquency and encourage timely payments
Monitor accounts daily and discuss overdue payments with clients
Manage disputes and resolve issues in collaboration with sales, billing, and other stakeholders
Investigate historical data related to debts and invoices
Collaborate with accounting operations to process payments and refunds
Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress
Pass customer queries to relevant teams with full details for prompt resolution
Collaborate with other finance and internal teams to improve processes

Requirements

A BA or BS degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, and/or Linguistics.
Ideally first experiences in accounting or financial administration.
Strong communication skills to deal with different internal stakeholders and in multinational teams.
Eager to learn and keen to deliver best in class customer experience to internal or external stakeholders of Celonis customers, partners, and employees.
Very comfortable with numbers.
Target driven, quick learner, and team player.
An independent and entrepreneurial way of working.
Business fluency in English.
Fluency in a second European language is a strong plus.
