A research scientist or engineer role focused on developing embodied machine learning techniques to create general-purpose robots capable of performing a wide variety of tasks in unstructured environments with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and advance large-scale datasets of physical interactions for training robotic behaviors.
Research and implement embodied machine learning techniques to enable general-purpose robot capabilities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate hardware, perception, controls, and machine learning for robotic manipulation.
Requirements
A strong background in embodied machine learning.
Ability to work independently when needed, but also work well with a larger integrated group.
Experience with robots or other embodied systems such as autonomous vehicles, particularly in the manipulation domain, is strongly preferred.
