Key Responsibilities
Design and implement learning pipelines for robotic assembly systems
Run experiments to evaluate architectural, data, and algorithmic choices
Apply modern machine learning techniques to challenges in physical reasoning and policy learning
Requirements
A recent PhD degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Robotics, or a related discipline.
A strong implementation track record demonstrated through prior research, projects, or publications.
Experience in designing and implementing learning pipelines from scratch.
Ability to run experiments to evaluate a wide range of architectural, data, and algorithmic choices.
Experience applying modern machine learning techniques to robotic assembly or similar physical reasoning challenges.
Knowledge and experience working at the intersection of policy learning, reinforcement learning, and physical reasoning.
Ability to explore and integrate large language models and agentic infrastructure into real-world manufacturing problems.
Experience with developing end-to-end AI systems that can reason about physical objects from design to assembly.
Understanding of how to develop learning infrastructure needed to train and evaluate AI systems at scale.
Physical and mental capacity to work in a research environment that involves complex problem-solving and experimentation.
Legal authorization to work in the specified U.S. states (California or Massachusetts) without requiring employer sponsorship.
Ability to work within the specified pay range, which depends on experience, skills, and location (California: $176,000 - $253,000; Massachusetts: $158,400 - $227,700).
