A research internship focused on developing machine learning models and systems to enable robots to better understand and execute human instructions through data collection, interactive learning, and experimentation with both simulated and real robots.
Key Responsibilities
Develop code prototypes for robotic learning and manipulation tasks
Conduct experiments with simulated and real robots to test models and algorithms
Create and optimize data pipelines and model architectures for large-scale heterogeneous datasets
Participate in research and publishing efforts related to robot learning from human data
Requirements
Experience in developing and creating working code prototypes for robotics or related fields.
Ability to interact frequently with team members and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Experience in running experiments with both simulated and real physical robots.
Comfort working with both existing large static datasets and a growing dynamic corpus of robot data.
Strong programming skills suitable for developing prototypes and experiments in robotics or machine learning.
Ability to participate in publishing research work to peer-reviewed venues.
Educational background or experience relevant to robotics, machine learning, or AI (implied by research and prototype development requirements).
