Job Description
A research internship focused on developing foundational models at the intersection of Computer Vision and Robotics, working with large-scale data to solve complex problems related to robot deployment in unstructured environments, with opportunities for publication and real-world testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Propose, conduct, and transfer research at the intersection of Computer Vision and Robotics.
- Use large datasets from multiple sources and modalities to train foundation models.
- Work on developing models for understanding and predicting world states in unstructured environments.
- Test research ideas in simulators and real-world robotic applications.
- Contribute to publications at top academic venues related to Video Generation, World Modeling, 4D Reconstruction, and Multi-Modal Foundation Models.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university or college program related to Computer Vision, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field.
- Experience working with large amounts of data from different sources and modalities.
- Familiarity with training large-scale foundation models aimed at solving open problems in Computer Vision and Robotics.
- Ability to propose, conduct, and transfer pioneering research in the intersection between Computer Vision and Robotics.
- Experience working with simulators and testing ideas in real-world environments.
- Knowledge of Video Generation, World Modeling, 4D Reconstruction, Multi-Modal Foundation Models, Multi-View Geometry, Data Augmentation, and Large Vision Models, with a primary focus on embodied applications.
- Strong understanding of how to leverage data from different sources and modalities to develop models that understand how the world works, predict future states, and adapt to new environments and circumstances.
- Availability to participate in a 12-week paid internship during summer 2026.
- Ability to work in a hybrid in-office role as required by the internship.
- Excellent communication skills to work with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to publications at top academic venues.
