Job Description
A research internship focused on developing and validating advanced 3D perception and representation learning methods for robotics, working with large-scale multimodal datasets to enable robots to understand and interact with diverse environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to propose, conduct, and transfer pioneering research at the intersection of Computer Vision, Graphics, and Robotics
- Work with large-scale 2D, 3D, and multimodal datasets
- Design and train new representation learning methods
- Validate research ideas in both simulation and physical robotic systems
- Advance core 3D perception and representation learning methods to enable robots to understand, reconstruct, and interact with the environment
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a graduate or undergraduate program in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working with large-scale 2D, 3D, and multimodal datasets.
- Ability to design and train new representation learning methods.
- Experience validating research ideas in both simulation and physical robotic systems.
- Strong background in Computer Vision, Graphics, and Robotics as it relates to perception, reconstruction, and interaction with the environment.
- Ability to contribute to high-impact research publications.
- Availability to commit to a 12-week summer internship in 2026, with a hybrid in-office work arrangement.
- Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on pioneering research at the intersection of Computer Vision, Graphics, and Robotics.
