Job Description
A research internship focused on advancing human behavior change through generative AI, involving collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop human-in-the-loop systems and contribute to Toyota's broader behavior change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of machine learning and behavioral scientists to develop human-in-the-loop systems for behavior change.
- Develop and test novel AI-driven tools aimed at accelerating and scaling behavior change technologies.
- Engage in strategy discussions to connect research outcomes with business impact at Toyota.
- Prepare research manuscripts for publication in competitive venues.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a PhD degree in a relevant field such as computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, behavioral science, or human-computer interaction.
- Highly motivated and talented to join a research team focused on human behavior change through the application of generative AI.
- Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams of machine learning and behavioral scientists to develop and test human-in-the-loop systems.
- Ability to develop and test novel systems for accelerating and scaling behavior change technologies within a specific research scope.
- Capability to engage in strategy discussions about how research connects to business impact at Toyota.
- Ability to prepare a manuscript for publication at a competitive venue.
