Job Description
An internship position focused on developing and benchmarking probabilistic programming tools to support the design and testing of fuel cells, electrolyzers, and related energy devices, combining materials science and artificial intelligence techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and benchmarking of probabilistic programming tools.
- Develop tools to provide insights into the design and testing of fuel cells, electrolyzers, or related devices.
- Perform probabilistic programming, time-series analysis, structural causal model development, and machine learning model development.
Requirements
- Experience or knowledge in probabilistic programming, time-series analysis, structural causal model development, and or machine learning model development.
- Ability to contribute to the development and or benchmarking of probabilistic programming tools related to fuel cells, electrolyzers, or related devices.
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a program related to materials science, artificial intelligence, computer science, or a related field (implied by the internship focus and interface of materials science and AI).
- Willingness to learn new skills at the interface of materials science and AI.
- Ability to work in a team of scientists and engineers in a collaborative environment.
- Availability to work in California-based roles with a pay range of $45 to $65 per hour (implying the need for legal work authorization in California).
