Job Description
The Senior Project Manager PE, Civil - Transportation leads the design and planning of transportation infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, and multimodal systems, while supporting business development and client relations in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead transportation infrastructure design projects including highway, traffic, bridge, and roadway systems
- Provide comprehensive services such as transportation planning, geometric layouts, multimodal planning, preliminary engineering, and final design
- Collaborate with leadership and clients to develop marketing plans, maintain client and agency relationships, and identify new business opportunities
- Develop proposals and deliver client presentations to support business growth
- Ensure project cost efficiency and risk mitigation through collaboration and innovative practices
Requirements
- Must be a Senior Professional Engineer (PE) with expertise in transportation infrastructure design and planning.
- Must have experience leading projects for designing complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure systems, including sustainable transportation planning, geometric layouts, multimodal planning, preliminary engineering, and final design.
- Must have experience working in transportation design and planning areas including highway, traffic, bridge, and roadway.
- Must have the ability to support a growing portfolio of work in the Milwaukee region.
- Must have experience collaborating with surface transportation leaders, regional vice presidents, and agency representatives to develop marketing plans, cultivate and maintain client relations, track prospective opportunities, develop proposals, and deliver client presentations.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in transportation engineering or project management.
- Must have the ability to complete a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
