Job Description
The Senior Project Manager PE, Civil - Transportation is responsible for leading the design and management of transportation infrastructure projects, including planning, engineering, and client relations, within a collaborative and hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of transportation infrastructure projects including highway, traffic, bridge, and roadway systems.
- Provide comprehensive services to clients such as transportation planning, geometric layouts, and preliminary to final engineering design.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop marketing plans, cultivate client relationships, and track project opportunities.
- Develop proposals and deliver presentations to clients and agency representatives.
- Support business development efforts through a Seller-Doer approach.
Requirements
- Must be a Senior Professional Engineer (PE) with expertise in transportation infrastructure systems.
- Must have experience leading projects for designing complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure systems.
- Must have experience providing a full range of services including sustainable transportation planning, geometric layouts, multimodal planning, preliminary engineering, and final design.
- Must have expertise in one or more of the following areas: highway, traffic, bridge, and roadway transportation design and planning.
- Must have the ability to support a growing portfolio of work in the Milwaukee region.
- Must have experience collaborating with transportation leaders, clients, and agency representatives to develop marketing plans, cultivate and maintain relationships, track prospective opportunities, develop proposals, and deliver client presentations.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in transportation project management or engineering.
- Must complete a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
