Job Description
A Senior Professional Civil Engineer specializing in roadway projects, responsible for leading design, project coordination, and construction supervision of municipal and urban roadway projects, while also contributing to business development and client relations in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and project coordination for roadway and municipal projects from feasibility studies to construction supervision
- Perform roadway design, traffic analysis, pavement management, utilities coordination, and transportation planning
- Collaborate with management and business development teams to develop marketing plans, cultivate client relationships, and prepare proposals
- Contribute to project cost efficiency and risk mitigation strategies
Requirements
- A Senior Professional Civil Engineer with 10 - 20 Years of Experience in civil engineering, specifically in roadway and municipal projects.
- Experience leading design and project coordination throughout the full cycle of roadway and municipal projects, including feasibility studies, initial design, final design, and supervising construction of the design.
- Proficiency in roadway design, traffic analysis, pavement management, utilities coordination, and transportation planning for both urban and rural roadways.
- Ability to collaborate with the Roadway Utilities Group Manager and the Vice President of Surface Transportation Engineering to develop marketing plans, cultivate and maintain client and agency relations, track prospective opportunities, develop proposals, and deliver client presentations.
- Pre-employment background screening including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
