Job Description
The Senior Engineer Project Manager - Traffic leads the design and management of transportation infrastructure projects, while also contributing to business development, client relations, and proposal development within a collaborative, employee-owned firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with management and engineering teams to develop marketing plans and proposals
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and agency representatives
- Track prospective business opportunities and deliver client presentations
- Ensure project cost efficiency and risk mitigation through collaboration and innovation
Requirements
- Experience in leading projects for designing complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent engineering certification.
- Experience in project management within the transportation or civil engineering sector.
- Ability to collaborate with team members and clients, including developing proposals, delivering client presentations, and maintaining relations with clients and agency representatives.
- Experience in developing marketing plans and tracking prospective opportunities related to transportation projects.
- Knowledge of cost efficiency and risk mitigation strategies in project execution.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid work environment, with in-office presence on Monday and Friday and WFH on Tuesday through Thursday.
- Completion of a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
