Job Description
The Senior Engineer Project Manager - Traffic is responsible for leading the design of complex transportation infrastructure projects, managing client relationships, contributing to business development, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with management and stakeholders to develop marketing plans and proposals
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and agency representatives
- Track prospective business opportunities and deliver client presentations
- Ensure project cost efficiency and risk mitigation through innovative planning and execution
Requirements
- Possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Have experience leading projects for designing complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure systems.
- Demonstrate experience in project management within transportation engineering or related fields.
- Be capable of collaborating with senior management, including Traffic Group Manager and Vice President of Surface Transportation Engineering, to develop marketing plans, cultivate and maintain client and agency relations, track prospective opportunities, develop proposals, and deliver client presentations.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in transportation or civil engineering project management.
- Possess strong skills in project planning, risk mitigation, and cost efficiency optimization.
- Be able to complete a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
