Job Description

A registered architect role focused on leading design efforts and managing projects for corporate industrial, educational, and government clients, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to business development in a flexible work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to the design efforts for corporate industrial, educational, and government projects.
  • Develop schematic designs and assist with specification preparation and edits.
  • Prepare production documentation for architectural projects.
  • Coordinate activities of multidisciplinary project teams as a Project Manager.
  • Manage project fee estimates, budgets, and schedules.
  • Develop project proposals and client presentations to support marketing efforts.
  • Maintain and establish client relationships and identify industry and market trends for business development.

Requirements

  • Experience serving as a Project Architect and being responsible for developing schematic designs, assisting with specification preparation and edits, and preparing production documentation.
  • Experience serving as a Project Manager and being responsible for coordinating the activities of a multidiscipline team while managing fee estimates, project budgets, and schedules.
  • Strong design skills with the ability to create effective, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable architectural solutions.
  • Interest in working in a challenging and highly-collaborative environment.
  • Ability to contribute to and lead the design efforts for a variety of corporate industrial projects for Fortune 500 clients throughout the country, as well as educational and government projects in Minnesota.
  • Ability to collaborate with a multidiscipline team of highly talented and innovative design and engineering professionals.
  • Willingness to develop project proposals and client presentations, maintain and establish client relationships, and identify industry and market trends for new business development.
  • Educational background in architecture or a related field (implied by the role of Architect and responsibilities involved).
  • Completion of a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history (as a condition of employment).
