Job Description
The role involves leading site design for industrial rail facilities, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop infrastructure solutions for railroads, and supporting project management, client relationships, and business development efforts within a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead site design for industrial facilities such as railyards, maintenance buildings, fueling stations, and offices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop innovative infrastructure solutions
- Manage project tasks and timelines to ensure successful project delivery
- Mentor junior engineering staff to support their professional development
- Contribute to business development by cultivating client relationships and supporting proposal development
Requirements
- Possess a Professional Engineer license in Civil Engineering.
- Have experience in site design for industrial facilities such as railyards, maintenance and service buildings, locomotive fueling stations, and administrative offices.
- Demonstrate ability to lead site design projects for industrial facilities related to railroads.
- Have the capacity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including experts in architecture, civil, electrical, mechanical, and structural engineering.
- Be able to contribute to project management, mentor junior staff, and support business development efforts such as cultivating client relationships and proposal development.
- Complete a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
