Job Description
The role involves leading site design for industrial railway facilities, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative infrastructure solutions, managing projects, mentoring junior staff, and supporting business development efforts within a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead site design for industrial facilities such as railyards, maintenance buildings, fueling stations, and offices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop innovative infrastructure solutions
- Manage project tasks and timelines to ensure successful project delivery
- Mentor junior staff and support their professional development
- Contribute to business development by cultivating client relationships and supporting proposal development
Requirements
- Possess a Professional Engineer license in Civil Engineering.
- Have experience taking the lead on site design for industrial facilities such as railyards, maintenance and service buildings, locomotive fueling stations, and administrative offices.
- Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including experts in architecture, civil, electrical, mechanical, and structural engineering.
- Be capable of delivering innovative solutions for Class I, short line, and passenger railroads across the country.
- Be willing to contribute to project management, mentor junior staff, and support business development efforts by cultivating client relationships and supporting proposal development.
- Complete a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history, upon acceptance of a conditional offer.

Work schedule: Hybrid work policy with three days in the office (Tuesday through Thursday) and two days working from home (Monday and Friday)
