Job Description
The Engineering Specialist Designer, Civil is responsible for collaborating on rail infrastructure projects, focusing on utility design and management, including water, sewer, and fire protection systems, within a multidisciplinary team in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to provide civil construction services for rail projects
- Design and manage utility projects including potable water, fire protection, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer systems
- Contribute to the development and execution of utility designs for rail infrastructure projects
Requirements
- Possess a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent educational qualification.
- Have 5 to 10 years of utility design experience, specifically in designing and managing utility projects.
- Have a strong background in designing and managing utility projects including potable water, fire protection, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer systems.
- Be able to collaborate effectively within a team environment, including working with multi-disciplinary professionals.
- Be willing to work in a hybrid work environment, which includes three days in the office (Tuesday through Thursday) and two days working from home (Monday and Friday).
- Successfully complete a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
