Job Description
A CAD Designer Engineering Specialist responsible for developing preliminary and final designs for water, wastewater, and street infrastructure projects across municipal, industrial, and private sectors, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver civil and utility infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing preliminary and final designs for wastewater collection, treatment, water supply, and street improvements.
- Collaborate with Civil, Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, and Structural professionals on multi-discipline projects.
- Create civil designs for public and private projects, including industrial, commercial, utility infrastructure, stormwater management, and campus development.
Requirements
- Experience assisting with the development of preliminary and final designs for wastewater collection, wastewater treatment, water supply, drinking water treatment, and street improvements within the municipal government, manufacturing industrial, and private development sectors.
- Ability to work alongside Civil, Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, and Structural professionals to provide civil design on multi-discipline public and private projects, including industrial, commercial development, utility infrastructure and facility design, stormwater management systems, and corporate and academic campus design.
- Proficiency in using CAD software for engineering design tasks.
- Ability to assist with the development of civil designs for projects involving wastewater systems, water supply, street improvements, stormwater management, and campus or facility design.
- Willingness to work in a flexible work arrangement, including 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
- Successful completion of a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
