Job Description
The 2026 Summer Intern - Architecture position offers undergraduate and graduate architecture students hands-on experience in preparing construction documents, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and applying design skills across various project sectors, with opportunities for professional development and networking.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing construction documents and specifications for various projects.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit skills to support project development.
- Collaborate with Architects, Interior Designers, Landscape Architects, and engineering professionals across disciplines.
- Contribute throughout the project lifecycle from schematic design to construction.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Architecture (BSArch) or a Master of Architecture (MArch) degree.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week throughout the summer of 2026, from mid-May through mid-August, with occasional overtime.
- Ability to work primarily from the office with the possibility of flexible hybrid work arrangements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software skills.
- Experience or familiarity with preparing construction documents and specifications for architectural projects.
- Willingness to collaborate with Architects, Interior Designers, Landscape Architects, and Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Structural engineering professionals to support multi-disciplinary projects.
- Ability to contribute to projects across various sectors including educational, governmental, corporate, and industrial sectors.
- Willingness to participate in a structured internship program that includes formal software training, networking opportunities, mentorship, social events, and learning seminars.
- Successful completion of a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
