Job Description
A Senior Machine Learning Engineer responsible for developing and implementing AI solutions to advance healthcare services across various health domains, supporting the company's AI Care platform and remote healthcare initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement machine learning models for healthcare applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into the platform
- Optimize and maintain ML algorithms to improve performance and accuracy
Requirements
- Candidates must possess a valid EU visa and be based in Portugal.
- Proven experience as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer or similar role, demonstrating expertise in developing and deploying machine learning models at an advanced level.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages commonly used in machine learning, such as Python, and experience with relevant ML frameworks and libraries.
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, model training, evaluation, and optimization techniques.
- Experience working with large-scale data sets, data preprocessing, and feature engineering.
- Ability to design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient machine learning systems.
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote hybrid environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Educational background in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
