Job Description
A Senior iOS Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining iOS applications that support Sword Health's AI-driven healthcare platform, contributing to making healthcare more accessible and cost-effective through innovative mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain iOS applications for the AI Care platform
- Implement features to support healthcare services across various health domains
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable iOS solutions
Requirements
- Candidates must possess a valid EU visa and be based in Portugal.
- Experience in iOS development with a strong understanding of Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
- Proven experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining iOS applications at a senior level.
- Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and best practices for iOS platforms.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party SDKs and libraries into iOS applications.
- Strong knowledge of iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, and Core Location.
- Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Experience with automated testing and continuous integration processes for iOS applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend developers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
