Job Description
A Senior Backend Engineer at Sword Health is responsible for building, scaling, and optimizing the infrastructure that supports AI-powered clinical features and decision support systems, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure products that enable personalized, data-driven healthcare solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, scale, and optimize infrastructure supporting ML-powered clinical features and decision support systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product robustness, scalability, and security
- Develop and maintain backend systems that enable seamless access to personalized, data-driven healthcare services
Requirements
- Candidates must possess a valid EU visa and be based in Portugal.
- Experience in building, scaling, and optimizing infrastructure that supports machine learning-powered clinical features, decision support systems, and innovations in Generative AI.
- Proficiency in backend engineering skills relevant to AI and ML applications.
- Ability to work directly with cross-functional teams to ensure products are robust, scalable, and secure.
- Experience in developing and maintaining secure, scalable, and robust backend systems for healthcare or similar industries.
- Strong understanding of data-driven care systems and personalized clinical support infrastructure.
