Job Description
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting the company's financial operations to facilitate Sword Health's mission of providing AI-driven healthcare solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee financial accounting processes and reporting
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
Requirements
- Candidates must possess a valid EU visa and be based in Portugal.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting principles and practices, including financial reporting and compliance.
- Experience with financial software and tools commonly used in accounting functions.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial data.
- Ability to prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
- Knowledge of local Portuguese tax laws and regulations relevant to financial reporting.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote work environment.
- Flexibility to work during standard business hours and adapt to team schedules.
